I have been a Professional Wedding
Photographer for fifteen years now and I have photographed hundreds of
weddings successfully. "Successfully" to me means that I have
made many people very happy with my work years after their wedding. Those
hundreds of weddings have included some of the most important and well-known
families of Pittsburgh. But no matter who the family has been that I've photographed for, it is always my honor to photograph ALL families, both locally and abroad. Choosing your service
after you reserve your date with me is easy, because you'll have me to help you
with the process! And helping you is just one of the personalized
services I offer as your photographer.
I accept limited Wedding Photography Commissions each year because
this enables me to dedicate myself to providing you with the highest level of
artistry and service. My ability to create beautiful Works of Art for you
results from a mutual understanding between us that creating artistic imagery
for you is most important work that takes time and attention to produce.
To reserve my services all you need do is
to remit your Date Reservation Retainer (see
"Terms & Agreements" below), then we
can discuss your individual needs and customize a service for you. Following our discussion, a final
decision on a Photography Collection will need to be made by you no later than six months prior to
your wedding. It's easy, no stress, no rushing and I'm here to help every
step of the way! I guarantee that long
after your wedding you will be overwhelmed with the images and thoroughly
pleased with the products I will provide you!

Joanne prefers to customize her Photography Collections to meet each clients individual needs. When you meet with Joanne, she will gently guide you through a stress-free process of determining services and products to help make your wedding dreams come true. Or, if you'd like, you may choose to create your own Collection with Joanne's guidance and add products that suit your desires..
Joanne's flexible hourly services begin at $2500. Joanne also offers her most popular Photography Collection, the EnVogue, a reasonably-priced collection that includes many fine products and benefits for both the couple and their families.
Joanne's services for world-wide travel begin at $10,000 and are presented
with many exclusive services and products, but can be adjusted to provide only for travel and photography.
If you are seriously interested in having Joanne photograph your wedding
please understand that Joanne limits the weddings she is commissioned to photograph
annually so she can provide her clients with unique photography and design
services, high-quality products, and quite frankly, with the attention Joanne
feels her clients deserve. As a result,
Joanne's photographic services are reserved one to two years in advance of the
actual wedding date, which also works well to lessen budgetary constraints.
T E R M S, A G R E E M E N T S a n d P A Y M E N T S C H E D U L E S ::
Date Reservation Retainer (DRR):
To enter into a working relationship with Joanne, a Date Reservation Retainer (DRR) is required. The DRR must be remitted via personal check, cash or PayPal payment to reserve your wedding date. The DRR is separate from the value of the collection you may choose to invest in and is intended solely to reserve your date. Once the DRR is remitted, a Preliminary Photography Agreement will be prepared to indicate payment of the DRR and our intent to work together.
The DRR is refundable within seven business days should you change your
mind about entering into a working relationship with Joanne. After seven business days the DRR becomes
non-refundable due to foregoing other opportunities. Once the DRR has been received, Joanne will prepare a
legally-binding Preliminary Wedding Photography Agreement to ensure professional services will be
provided then personally assist you with customizing a Photography Collection.
NOTE: Dates will not be held without a DRR; there are no exceptions to
this term. If you are unsure of the service you wish to purchase but know you
would like to have Joanne as your photographer; the DRR will reserve your date then
your final decision on the Photography Collection must be determined six months prior to the wedding so the Final Wedding Photography Agreement can be prepared.
Terms + Payment Schedule:
~ DRR is Required to reserve the wedding date. After seven days, this is a binding, non-refundable retainer. Once the DRR is remitted, a Preliminary Wedding Photography Agreement is prepared indicating our intent to work together.
~ 180 days before the Wedding: a final decision must be made on the Collection or Service
you would like to invest in so the Final Wedding Agreement can be prepared.
~ 90 days before the Wedding: a retainer of half of the collection value
is due.
~ 30 days before the Wedding: a retainer of the balance due of the
collection value is due.
NOTE: Failure to remit retainers as scheduled in the agreement is a breach
of the agreement and releases photographer Bartone from any obligation to
fulfill the agreement.
The preferred methods of payments accepted are money orders/bank checks,
personal checks and Credit Card payment via PayPal accounts. Personal checks provided by credit card
companies to their card holders are accepted as well but discouraged due to the
high interest rates placed on this method of payment.
